For all in our communities who are about to start SATS, GCSE's and A levels together with their teachers and families. For all those in our churches who are unwell, recovering from surgery or undergoing treatment, including Brenda Bergner, Trevor Plumb & Pat Martin. For those who are grieving for a loved one they have lost including the families and friends of Caroline Spring, Judith Stockley, John Forrest, Sue Gray & Jenni.

Church Finances
If you have collected your letter about church finances, please remember to return the response form to the church treasurer or let them know what action you have taken. If you have not collected your letter yet from the back of the church, please do so today. If you can't find your letter, please let your church treasurer know and we will put this right.

Mission Church Foyer noticeboards
Over the coming weeks, we will be refreshing our notice boards in the Mission Church, making a few changes along the way. Please take a look when you're next in the building.

Plant Sale at St Andrew's
Don't forget that plants are still on sale in the porch of St Andrew's Church in aid of church funds. If you need to re-stock your garden or have plants you would like to donate, please pay a visit. For more information, please contact Helen Thomas (Compton Dundon).

Accomodation Needed
A member of our church family is still urgently seeking a 3 bedroom house to rent in the Street area. If you know of any properties, please have a word with Kevin or Ana, thank you.

Messy Church goes wild
This week, Tuesday 14th May, 3.30 - 5pm primary school aged children and their families are invited to this fun, free outdoor event in the churchyard at Holy Trinity, Walton. Please spread the word!

Connections@theMission
Our monthly meeting in the Mission Church formerly known as 'afternoon teas' will next be meeting this Thursday 16th May 2.30 - 4pm. Jenny Collins (Mission Church) will be leading a Pentecost themed craft activity. Connections is open to all in our church family and community; do come along and invite your friends.

The Best of Friends
Alongside our forthcoming sermon series on relationships starting at the end of May, our house groups will be following a study series based on friendship. The book that accompanies this series is the excellent 'The Best of Friends' by Phil Knox. If you'd like to order a copy, please give your name to Sonia in the office together with payment of £10.55. Orders should be with Sonia by Monday 20th May at the latest. If we have sufficient orders, we may be able to get a bulk discount.

Afternoon of prayer - Thy Kingdom Come
Next Saturday, 18th May from 3 - 6pm there will be an opportunity to pray together in the Parish Church, Street. We would love to see a church family united in prayer and please come along for all or some of the afternoon. Refreshments will be available.

Sharing Walton Reordering Plans with our local community
Next Sunday 19th May from 2 - 5pm, Holy Trinity, Walton will be open for our local community to see and discuss our reordering plans. The group planning this and our architect will be available to answer questions and there will also be an opportunity to leave comments. Tea and cake will be served. Please encourage those in our community to come along and find out more.

Flower Festival at St Andrew's
We are so looking forward to welcoming visitors to the bi-annual flower festival at St Andrew's Church, Compton Dundon over the Whitsun (later May) bank holiday weekend. There will be displays, refreshments and a Songs of Praise Service on Sunday 26 May at 6pm. If you were able to offer to do some baking to support this event, that would be hugely appreciated. Please contact Julie Gordon at St Andrew's.

Celebrate@6
It's been great to welcome increasing numbers of new people at our informal monthly celebrate@6 service. The next one will be on Sunday 19th May at 6pm in the Mission Church. Why not put it in your diary and come along.

Exhibition at Wells Cathedral
A reminder that there is a 'doves of peace' exhibition currently in the Cathedral which is well worth a visit. If you are on the electoral roll at one of our parishes and have applied for a free entry pass, this will allow you to see this for free.

Deanery Synod
Please pray for the deanery synod for Glastonbury Jurisdiction as it meets this week in St John's Church Glastonbury. We still have vacancies for deanery synod reps and please have a word with Ana if this is something you'd be interested in.
